Drug-Free Communities Mission & Vision
Our mission is to create innovative solutions through community collaborations to meet the unmet mental health, addiction, prevention, and early intervention needs of our Racine County children and their families.
Our vision is to foster a drug-free Racine County, where every resident thrives in a safe, healthy, inclusive and mentally resilient community.

About Us
The Racine Collaborative for Children's Mental Health (C2MH) was formed in 2012 to address the unmet mental health needs of children in our Racine community. As C2MH started addressing the mental health concerns of our community, it was becoming notable that the youth substance misuse and prevention strategies was another area to address. In 2023, C2MH along with its fiscal agent, Focus on Community was awarded the CDC Drug-Free Communities (DFC) grant. Our DFC coalition is focused on addressing the root cause of youth substance misuse and aligning key prevention strategies in designing solutions that are youth-driven and adult-guided.
